Dual Degree Program

It's no secret a college education is necessary to be competitive in today's competitive job market. The Dual Degree Program (DDP), a partnership between Governors State University (GSU) and Kankakee Community College (KCC) allows you to earn two degrees within four years.
Program benefits include:
- Guarantee your acceptance to GSU.
- Lock-in your GSU tuition rate for four years, from the term you enroll in the DDP.
- Compete for GSU Promise and DDP Honors scholarships to graduate debt-free from GSU.
- Increased financial aid through MAP 2+2 for eligible students.
- Academic advising from GSU and KCC to ensure proper course selection and transferability.
As a full-time community college student who has completed between 12-30 credit hours, you are eligible to apply to the Dual Degree program today - with no obligation to attend GSU.
