Upon submission
of the portfolio, the faculty committee will determine the status of
the candidate by making one of three recommendations:
-
A recommendation of Pass
will be made when the student receives an average score of 2 or
higher in each of the six sections of this rubric.
-
A recommendation of Pass with
Revision will be made when the student receives an average
score of 2 or higher on five of the six sections of this rubric
but an average score of 1 on one of the six sections. This
recommendation requires the student to submit further evidence
or satisfactory revisions to the committee chair prior to a
grade of Pass being submitted for the course.
-
A recommendation of No Credit
will be made when the student receives an average score of 1 on
more than one of the six sections of this rubric or a score of 0
on any section.
