Install compatible version(s) of Java

This tutorial will help you to install a compatible version of Java. The procedure is
the same for Windows XP and Vista

Click on the WebCT browser tune up link

Click on the Plug-ins link in the Browser Information Window

Scroll to the bottom of the Plug-Ins page until you locate the Java link button.
Click on the Java button to open the Sun web site to download and install Java.

On the Sun website, to download Java:
1. Accept the license agreement ( a screen refresh will take place with a screen dialog box appearing - click OK)
2. When the screen reappears, pick Windows Offline Installation.

A Dialog box will open prompting you to Run - Save - Cancel.
Choose and Click Run with your mouse

Another Dialog Box will open, Choose and Click Run with your mouse.

Choose Typical Setup and Accept the license agreement.

Java will begin to Install - Installation time depends on the speed of your internet connection.

When java has completed its installation - click Finish

You will then be prompted to restart your computer. When your computer has restarted the Java
installation is completed.
