Removing incompatible version(s) of Java fform Windows XP
Using the correct version of Java for WebCT is very important
This tutorial will help you to remove the incompatible version before installing a compatible version.
Click the green start button to open the menu and locate Control Panel.
Click on Control Panel to Open the Control Panel Window
Click on Add or Remove Programs
Scrolling down the page until you find J2SE Runtime Environment.
Click on the name link a Change and a Remove button will appear.
Click on the Remove button to start the uninstall process.
A popup window will appear to confirm you wish to remove Java - Click yes.
When Java has been removed. Close the Add or Remove Programs and
Control Panel Windows. Then proceed to the tutorial "Install a Compatible Java Version"
