Doctoral Admissions Process

For your convenience, you can complete an application online for the majority of our doctoral programs. Be sure to check for any variances in the application process for the program you are interested in. Applicants applying to the following programs must complete a separate application process and may have a different application fee.

Doctoral applicants submit your application with the $75 application fee to avoid any processing delays. Applicants applying to the following programs must complete a separate application process and may have a different application fee.

The programs listed below require the submission of supplemental materials. The academic catalog should also be consulted for your program of interest.

Important: Transcripts must be sent directly from your previous school to GSU. If electronic transcripts are sent to you in error, return them to your previous school and request that they be sent directly to GSU. If your previous school sends you a paper version of your transcript, forward it to GSU unopened, in the sealed envelope that it came in.

Please allow two to four weeks for evaluation and processing after the application, transcript(s) and supplemental materials have been received. Some programs have application deadlines. All application materials must be in by the deadline or your application will not be reviewed. If your program has an application deadline, the evaluation process may take longer than two weeks. You will be notified once a decision has been made.

Be sure to include:

• GRE/GMAT and other test scores (when applicable)
• Credentials Evaluation (If you have completed course work outside of the USA, a course by cours credential evaluation, by a NACES member will be required).

After your application has been processed, you will receive a letter from the Office of Admission with your admission decision.
