Freshman Admissions Process

For your convenience, you can complete an application online for the first year undergraduate degree programs. Apply here.

Please note that freshmen will not be able to apply to the RN to BSN program.

Submit your application with the $25 application fee or fee waiver to avoid any processing delays.

Supplemental materials to complete your application include transcripts, ACT scores and a personal statement.

Important: Transcripts must be sent directly from your previous school to GSU. If electronic transcripts are sent to you in error, return them to your previous school and request that they be sent directly to GSU. If your previous school sends you a paper version of your transcript, forward it to GSU unopened in the sealed envelope it came in.

Be sure to include:

• GRE/GMAT and other test scores (when applicable)
• Credentials Evaluation (If you have completed course work outside of the USA, a course by cours credential evaluation, by a NACES member will be required).

The early action deadline for first year students is November 15^th. Those students with applications in by that deadline will have an admission decision by January 31^st. Applications will be open for first year students until April 1^st. Students who apply after the November 15^th early action deadline will be notified after February 15^th of their admission decision.

After your application has been processed, you will receive a letter from the Office of Admission with your admission decision. Students who have applied by the early action deadline of November 15^th will be notified by January 31^st of their admission decision.
